About the space

Formed in 2007 by Leon and Sol Curry, Factory Studios is now a multi-discipline creative space in the heart of Bristol, having started life as a band rehearsal space. What inspired the creation of Factory Studios? Founded with a vision to support the creative community, Factory Studios began as a rehearsal space and has since evolved into a hub for filmmakers, photographers, DJs, and more.

The space caters to filmmakers, content creation, photographers, DJs, and – of course – bands. The creative community sits at the heart of Factory Studios, and it's with great joy that the studio sees pre-productions, up-and-comers, filmmakers, and photographers bring ideas to life behind the studio doors every day. What types of projects are welcome at Factory Studios? From pre-productions to live recordings and photo shoots, we welcome projects of all kinds, offering a flexible and collaborative space for creatives.
