Content Studio Hire in Bristol: A Practical Guide for Video Creators and Production Teams

September 28, 2026

Words by: Factory Studios

Room 10 at Factory Studios is our dedicated film and content studio, and it gets used for a wide range of productions: music videos, brand shoots, e-commerce content, fashion editorials, corporate films, and social media content. The space works for all of it, and the setup is designed to make your production day as straightforward as possible.

If you’re planning a studio hire and want to know what to look for, or just want to understand what Room 10 offers before you book, this guide covers the key things to consider.

Space and dimensions

Floor space matters more than most people account for before a shoot. You need room for your subject, your camera position, your lighting rig, and your crew to move around each other without getting in each other’s way. Smaller studio spaces can feel cramped quickly once you add equipment and people.

Room 10 gives you 82 square metres to work with. That’s enough for a full band setup, a fashion shoot with a full creative team, or a commercial production where you need to move quickly between setups without constantly rearranging the room.

The infinity wall

The infinity wall, also known as the infinity cove, is the curved, seamless junction between the wall and floor that removes the visible corner of a room and gives you a clean, continuous background. It’s one of the most practical features a studio can have for photography and film work alike.

Room 10’s infinity wall is 3 metres high by 6.1 metres wide. That gives you enough height for full-length shots and enough width for group setups and band configurations without your subject running out of background.

Green screen

Alongside the infinity wall, Room 10 has a green curved screen wall. It’s 2.5 metres high by 2 metres wide. This opens up composited backgrounds in post, which is useful for anything from brand content to narrative film. Both setups are in the same room, so switching between them doesn’t require moving to a different space.

Lighting and power

Room 10 has four permanently rigged dimmable space lights. You can supplement these with your own kit if needed. The power supply is 3-phase 32 amp and 16 amp, which means you have the capacity to run a full professional lighting rig without issues.

It’s worth checking the power specification of any studio you’re considering before you book. Discovering on the day that a space can’t support your rig is an avoidable problem.

Soundproofing

If you’re shooting with on-camera audio or recording any spoken content, the acoustic environment matters. Sound bleed from adjacent rooms or building noise creates problems that are difficult to fix in post. Room 10 is fully soundproofed and acoustically treated.

Green room and support facilities

A green room is more useful than it sounds. Your talent needs somewhere to get ready, be briefed, and wait between setups, and having that happen away from the studio floor keeps the shooting space clear and your session on schedule.

Room 10 includes a green room, styling suite, and make-up room in the hire. These aren’t add-ons; they’re included in the day rate of £550 + VAT Monday to Friday.

Load-in and access

Think about how your kit is arriving. Factory Studios is at Barton Hill Trading Estate, just off the A4, with off-street parking on site and easy load-in access directly to Room 10. If you’re bringing a lot of equipment, this kind of access makes a genuine difference to how your day starts.

Booking hours

Standard studio hours are 8am to 5pm Monday to Friday and 9am to 5pm on weekends. If your production needs an earlier load-in or a later load-out, get in touch directly and we’ll work with you on what’s possible.

Pre-production

For larger or more complex shoots, a pre-production session before your main production day is worth considering. It gives you the chance to run through your shot list, plan the room layout, and resolve logistics before you’re on the clock with a full crew. It’s a small investment that often saves significant time on the day.

Booking Room 10

If you’re looking for a film and content studio for hire in Bristol, Room 10 is available to book online. For multi-day productions, extended hours, or anything that needs a bespoke arrangement, contact the team directly.
