Yes, but we do have limited on-site parking. If possible, we recommend car sharing, using public transport, or cycling to help keep spaces available.

Absolutely. We have a secure area to lock your bike, and we actively encourage cycling.

Yes. Our kitchen is open for everyone to use and stocked with tea, coffee, oat milk and sugar. You’ll also find a fridge, microwave, bowls, plates and cutlery. We don’t currently offer snacks or have a vending machine, and local food options are limited, so it’s worth bringing something along.

Smoke machines aren’t allowed in most studios. The only exception is our Film Studio, and you’ll need to request permission in advance.

If you’re outside the trading estate, press the buzzer on the gate and a member of staff will let you in.

If you’re leaving, there’s a release button on the left-hand side of the gate.
If you’re inside the estate, you’ll find an exit button on the left of the gate too.

Some areas are accessible for wheelchair users, but our toilet facilities are not currently wheelchair accessible. We know this isn’t ideal and are working on improvements. If you have specific needs, please let us know, we’ll do everything we can to help.

In the rare event a staff member is delayed, you can contact us on 07722 667012 or 07941 103308 and we’ll assist you straight away.

You can make bookings and check availability using our online booking system. It’s the quickest way to lock in your session.

We do offer regular rehearsal slots, but we’re not able to provide permanent rooms. If you’re looking for a recurring slot, get in touch and we’ll help where we can.

Rehearsals must be paid for in advance through our online booking system. We can also take card payments at reception for extra bookings or last-minute equipment needs.

Our biggest rooms are multi-purpose spaces, and we reserve them more than four weeks ahead for extended pre-production projects, film and video bookings.

If you’re using the space for film or video work, we do offer band discounts, just email or call us to discuss options.

Yes. You can request additional equipment directly through the online booking system when making your reservation, or by speaking to us at the studio desk when you arrive.

Yes, we have several in-house engineers who can record your session. Just let us know what you need and we’ll match you with the right person.

Absolutely. You're welcome to bring your own engineer if you prefer, the studio is fully set up for external engineers as well.

We work closely with a specialist mastering company. Get in touch and we’ll point you in the right direction or help arrange it for you.

Yes, we offer a 2.5-hour short session. It can’t be booked through the Online Booking System, so just email info@factorystudios.co.uk

Your booking includes full use of our live room, mixing room, and all in-house gear. You can choose between:

Dry hire: just the space and equipment

Studio hire with an engineer: one of our in-house engineers can run your session for an additional cost

Large lockers: 7ft high x 5ft wide x 7ft deep (with 24-hour access)
