Ever thought about starting a career as a professional guitar instructor? Factory Studios is recruiting tutors for Magnificent Music Factory, a new independent music service for primary schools across Bristol, Banes and the South West. Our pilot program aims to train guitar tutors and place them in employment, with a view to promoting music as an essential part of well-being in children.

We are offering a two-day training course led by Jimmy Goodrich, author of the Magnificent Music series, who brings 20 years of experience teaching guitar in UK schools. Through his extensive contacts, we aim to place you in a teaching position within a school in your area, starting September 2024.

You will learn:

How to teach one to one lessons to complete beginners
How to lead after school clubs and group lessons
How to prepare children for performance and exams
How to effectively impart self-confidence and enjoyment through music

We will provide:

A complete 38-week lesson plan
All course materials
Assistance with school placements
Guidance for obtaining DBS checks and insurance

This is a 2-day course that runs in July/August 2024
